About Me

Hi, my name is Brett and I am a Drummer/Percussionist from New Jersey. I have been a student of music for over 20 years. My musical influences include all genres of music from Jazz to Metal and I also enjoy playing guitar. My teaching style can best be described as fun and easy to catch on. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I will let the students take more control of the songs that they want to play, in order for them to be excited about, and learn quicker. In my lessons, you can expect to learn basic standard songs as well as innovative techniques to allow the students to explore their own creativity. I like to tell my students to practice every day even if its only for 10 minutes. My favorite thing about teaching is warching the growth of my students. My favorite performance was Peach fest 2022. My students love that I choose songs based on what they listen to. I primarily teach drums, but I can also teach a little beginner guitar and piano.
