Hi, my name is Jamal and I am a Hip Hop artist/song-writer from the DMV. I have been a student of music for over 20 years. My musical influences include 2 Pac, Lil Wayne, Wale, and I also enjoy assisting people on writing song. My teaching style can best be described as hands on, structural, precise, and fun. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that inspirational, motivating, with compassion. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to write verse, a hook, how to write with confidence. I like to tell my students always work hard but have fun while doing it. My favorite thing about teaching is motivating my students. My favorite performance was at the club. My students love that I am laid back with a strong passion for music.
