Hi, my name is Katie and I am a singer from Colorado. I have been a student of music for 10+ years. My musical influences include jazz and I also enjoy pop/rock. My teaching style can best be described as contemporary. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I encourage failure and mistakes. It is the only way to learn. In my lessons, you can expect to learn free breathing, genre exploration, classical/theatre styles, and contemporary pop styles. My favorite thing about teaching is inspiring confidence. My favorite performance was feeling like myself. I primarily teach musical theatre styles, but I can also teach contemporary pop/rock/jazz.
