Hello, I'm Jay, a retired world traveler with a Master's degree in Choral Conducting and a Bachelor's degree in Composition. I love teaching people how to sing well! My stylistic influences run the gamut from early music to classical, musical theater, jazz, bossa nova, folk, bluegrass, country, pop, blues, and rock. I also teach beginning to intermediate guitar and piano, and know how to help your songwriting improve. Usually, music theory and sight-reading will be part of your studies, because this "gift that keeps on giving" will speed your progress and give you a deeper relationship with music.
