Alison A.

Hi there! I am Alison, and I am a native Coloradan violinist. My violin journey started at the young age of 3! I grew up watching my mom play, and that's where my love for music began. Some of my musical achievements include earning the prestigious National Orchestra Award my senior year, inheriting my great-grandfather's violin, heavily training for vocal opera, and studying music therapy at Colorado State University. After a while, I missed my string roots and I started teaching one-on-one private violin lessons to beginners of all ages in 2020, sharing my love for the instrument. It wasn't until a few years into teaching that I missed playing in an ensemble, and created a small quartet group to play for small gigs.
