What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Students should feel encouraged, supported, and safe to make mistakes while learning. Students should expect a welcoming and engaging environment to appreciate learning the piano. Depending on your method, students may work on listening skills, playing by ear, or basic improvisation. Whether through games, composing, or favorite songs, expect elements that make the learning joyful. Students will build their performance skills through mock performances.

Performing Experience:
Take guest requests and provide a polished, engaging musical atmosphere. ● Provided piano accompaniment for three weekly Masses, including Sunday liturgies, holy days of obligation, and special sacraments (weddings, baptisms, funerals). ● Collaborated with the music director and cantor to select appropriate liturgical music according to the Roman Catholic calendar. ● Accompanied choir rehearsals and supported congregational singing of hymns, responsorial psalms, and service music (Gloria, Alleluia, Sanctus, etc.). ● Adapted and arranged traditional hymns, contemporary liturgical songs, and Latin choral pieces for piano accompaniment. ● Demonstrated reliability, reverence, and professionalism in a sacred worship environment. ● Played solo meditative music during offertory, communion, and prelude/postlude periods.
