Larry began playing drums at the age of 2 years old. Over the years, he developed his skills further by continuing his musical education at Berklee College of Music. He gained performance experience in the Virginia area by playing at various churches and venues such as the Hampton Coliseum and with acts such as Dorinda Clark-Cole. Though Larry can teach many genres of music, his musical personal favorites are R&B, Gospel, & Hip-Hop which had great influence on his style of playing. Larry loves music because of its creativity and connections it can build. Though, he loves teaching music because it gives him an opportunity to communicate through music. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned professional, Larry can help you expand and enhance your playing. Larry is excited to learn how he can help you reach your musical goals.
