I’ve been playing violin for over 12 years and have a deep passion for both performing and helping others grow through music. In high school, I was consistently placed in the highest-level orchestra at Hoffman Estates High School all four years, and I performed with ILMEA, the Illinois State Orchestra, District 211 Honors Orchestra, the Midwest Philharmonic Orchestra MPO, and the Schaumburg Youth Symphony Orchestra SYSO. These experiences gave me not only technical training but also a deeper appreciation for musical expression, discipline, and collaboration. In addition to violin, I’ve also studied piano for 4 years and ukulele for 7, and I’ve informally taught and mentored classmates in high school—helping with everything from technique and tone to practice habits and performance preparation. I love seeing students build confidence through music, and teaching is something that helps me grow as a musician too. I’d be excited to bring my experience, patience, and energy to a teaching role where I can support students in developing both skill and a lifelong appreciation for music.
