I have been playing drumset since I was 8 years old and have been surrounded by by music my entire life since my dad was in band and played guitar. I joined band class when I was in 5th grade and have stuck with it ever since. I joined marching band in 9th grade where I was on front ensemble playing vibraphone and auxiliary instruments. I moved to snare my sophomore year and continued to play snare through my high school marching career. I was assistant section leader my junior year and wrote the front ensemble and battery parts for the closer. I became section leader my senior year where I wrote drill and choreography for our percussion feature. I plan to continue marching through college.
