Matthew began playing guitar at the age of 10. Over the years, he developed his skills further by practicing daily. He gained performance experience in the guitar area by playing at such venues as Oskar Blues and with acts such as Arcadian Downfall. Though Matthew can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are acoustic which had great influence on his style of playing. Matthew loves music because it brings joy to him and those around him and loves teaching music because he wants to pass along the knowledge he found.
