About Me

Hi, my name is Tyler and I am a Tenor from North Carolina. I have been a student of music for 27 years. My musical influences include classical and I also enjoy Musical Theater. My teaching style can best be described as Fun, heslthy, and honest. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that "everyone deserves a chance to fly" from wicked and I'm here to help them reach that goal. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how the voice works, heslthy ways to sing different styles, and how to interperste music so you can perfomre it to the best of your abilities. I like to tell my students words of encuragement, honesty, and healthy and to have fun! My favorite thing about teaching is smiling faces from students and parents, students enjoying the musuc they are singing, and seeing them enjoy their natural born gift. My favorite performance was sinnging my first ever big role as guy fieri. My students love that I have a gental appraoch, but im honest and motivated. I primarily teach classicly, but I can also teach musical Theater, and Pop. My approach as a teacher is to overall have fun, set up some great reportoir for them, and have them audtion for what ever show the wish to be in or just want to post online, and the biggest thing keep it healthy.
