Hi, my name is Cailan and I am a music education major at hinds community college. I have been a student of music for 9 years at 10 years old I started playing bass guitar and since my 6th grade years of middle school I’ve also been playing trumpet. My teaching style can best be described as kind, understanding, humorous and patient. In my lessons, you can expect to learn the basic fundamentals of the instrument first hand placement how to pluck a bass or buzz in a mouth piece then learn a couple of basic songs, then eventually we’ll about the valves or fretboard, learning some of the basic theory of music.
