Alexandra has always loved music from an early age. She began singing at the age of 3 and continued her education by studying at Columbia College Chicago. Her musical influences include Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, Barbara Streisand, Stephen Sondheim, and many more. Alexandra's favorite thing about music is the ability to share a story through song and her favorite thing about teaching music is the ability to show others how to share their story. One of her favorite teaching experiences was prepping kids for Beetlejuice JR! We all practiced doing the beetlejuice voice to get comfort being silly. When taking lessons with Alexandra you can expect to have a laugh and just be yourself.
