Hello! My name is Carney. My Dad got me started on the drums at a very early age. He was a drummer himself so as soon as I could hold a pair of sticks, we started playing together. Once I was a little older, I started playing in Church and fell deeper in love with the instrument. From there, I went on to earn a degree in music from Portland Bible College where I taught as a private drum teacher. My favorite genres to play are Funk, Worship, and RnB. I love music that has a strong groove and feel to it! The drums are such a fantastic instrument. Learning to play them challenges mind, body, and spirit, developing us as individuals in the best way. It's not always easy to learn but that's why I'll be with you every step of the way. I love teaching and helping others succeed. I look forward to getting to know you! Let's play some drums :
