Lenny Michael is a pianist, composer, and teacher with a degree in Piano Performance from the University of Central Florida. Beginning his musical journey at 15, he quickly gained recognition for his talent, participating in various music festivals nationally and abroad. Michael has appeared in notable performances, including playing with the UCFSO at Steinmetz Hall and the UCF Percussion Ensemble at PASIC in Indianapolis. He has also performed chamber music as a fellow at the Lake George Festival in New York and the Lunigiana International Music Festival in Italy. Michael's achievements at UCF include receiving the Jose and Mimi Fernandez Scholarship for academic and musical excellence, receiving second prize in the 2024 UCF Performance Excellence Competition, and receiving a scholarship prize from the UCF Concerto Competition.
