My name is Dan, I’ve been playing guitar for 18 years and teaching on and off during that time. I’ve taught private lessons in the past. My first experience with this was through my high school when I took a music theory course. I taught music theory after school for the theory 1 classes for anyone not understanding the daily lesson. As well as taught children over the summer with my high school connecting me to those students. I’m 33 now. I’ve also taught casual private lessons on and off as they come up in my personal life. I’m currently involved in 4 different musical groups. All of which play gigs professionally. I also have a background in music theory.

Formal Education:
I’ve studied as a guitar performance major, and taken theory for a few years.
Private Education:
I’ve taken my own private lessons for a total of 7 years now.
Performing Experience:
I’ve played in various professional groups over the course of 19 years. I’m currently in three different groups that all gig professionally.
Experience Teaching:
I’ve taught private lessons on and off, I started with two elementary school students through a program my high school participated in while I was taking A.P. Theory. I’ve also had adult students as well.
