Hi, my name is Miss Annah! I’m a passionate and friendly music teacher from Houston, Texas, with over 10 years of experience as a dedicated student of music myself. My musical influences are a unique blend of classical elegance and pop creativity, which I love to bring into my lessons. My teaching style can best be described as engaging, supportive, and fun! My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying I believe every student has a unique musical voice worth discovering and celebrating. In my lessons, you can expect to learn technique, performance skills, music theory, and how to express yourself confidently through music. I like to tell my students, “Mistakes are proof that you’re learning—keep going!” My favorite thing about teaching is watching students grow not just as musicians, but as confident, creative individuals. My favorite performance was a duet recital where one of my beginner students took the stage for the first time—it was unforgettable! My students love that I make learning feel exciting and that I always celebrate their progress, big or small. I primarily teach violin and voice, but I can also teach beginner piano and music theory. My approach as a teacher is to create a warm, encouraging environment where students feel inspired to explore, take risks, and enjoy every step of their musical journey.
