About Me

Paxon began playing guitar at the age of 10. Over the years, he developed his skills further by creating a band. He gained performance experience in the Boulder area by playing at such venues as The Fox Theatre and with acts such as Huck N' Pray. Though Paxon can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are punk and grunge rock which had great influence on his style of playing. Paxon loves music because there's always something new to learn and loves teaching music because he believes everyone should learn to play music. Paxon can help you begin your guitar journey. What to expect in my Guitar Lessons

Beginner -

Paxon is a guitar instructor who helps students build a foundation in chords, rhythm, and technique. Lessons are clear, steady, and encouraging. Reminding students that patience is important because progress comes step by step. His goal is to help students learn music that inspires them while keeping the process upbeat and approachable.

Formal Education:

Paxon is currently enrolled at CU Boulder with a major of economics and a minor in music. Music classes he's taken include: voice class, music technology, words and music, history of rock music, basic music theory.

Performing Experience:

Paxon has performed for 2 years as a solo acoustic artist and singer/guitarist in a funk rock band called The Sanct. Most notably playing the Fox Theatre this summer.
