Hi, my name is Alijah. I have been a student of music for 27 years. My musical influences include Gospel and I also enjoy RnB. My teaching style can best be described as empowering. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I encourage growth. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to be comfortable with growth. I like to tell my students if your comfortable, you aren’t challenging yourself. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the joy on my students face when they out-do themselves. My favorite performance was Elizabeth Dole Foundation. My students love that I had to readjust due to vocal loss and pushed through beautifully.
