William has always loved music from an early age. He began playing Drums at the age of 12 and continued his education by attending the University of Wyoming from 2, when COVID forced him to join the workforce instead. William has since been involved in a few local bands to keep his skills sharp. Through these bands William has been able to play WhatFest in Saratoga, Wyoming, The Neighbor in Fort Collins, Colorado, and most recently Chipper Lanes in Greeley, Colorado. His musical influences include 90’s rock of all genres, BAM, and Hip Hop. William's favorite thing about music is the catharsis of playing your feelings, and his favorite thing about teaching music is helping others to learn how to express themselves through the art of playing. One of his favorite teaching experiences was when a mother and her 4 year old son were interested in purchasing a drum set at Music & Arts. When the son showed little interest in the electric kit on display, William invited them back to the drum set practice room where he was able to have the son play a simple rock beat within 20 minutes!
