Hi! I'm Alison, a dedicated teacher from Pennsylvania! I've been playing violin for over 17 years and have been teaching for 5. I recently graduated from Temple University with a Bachaelor's in Music in Music Therapy, as well as a certificate in American Sign Language and a minor in Psychology. I've played in numerous East Coast symphonies and orchestras and even had the opportunity to premiere pieces in Philadelphia and New York City! You can hear 2 of my recordings wherever you listen to music-they were both even up for Grammy Nominations! I am a music therapist by day, teacher in the evenings and I work with my clients on using music as the tool to support making an impact! I'm classically trained in violin and proficient in viola as well. I love teaching cello and double bass. I am comfortable teaching flute as I've played for about 10 years. In college I studied guitar, piano and voice and love helping students unlock their potential!
