Ruby-Ryan B.

Hello! My name is Ruby-Ryan and I have been playing guitar, bass, singing, and performing for over 15 years! I first began playing guitar when I was thirteen and joined choir in school where I had the opportunity to delve deeper into music theory. Later on I studied Film and Media at the University of Minnesota where I learned about audio production in many formats while continuing to play guitar and write songs. After school I moved to Portland and began playing guitar and bass in open mic jams with other touring musicians and bands. I joined a local touring Portland band called Rapid Eye Dreamer where I played bass, wrote songs, and performed live in various venues across the city. We also recorded and EP title Eyes Closed, Staring at the Sun. Give it a listen on Spotify! Most recently I have been writing a solo album inspired by folk, country, and R&B. I have a lot of fun sharing music with others and I am looking forward to sharing it with you!
