I hold a music education degree from Howard University in Washington D.C. I taught at George Washington University for 20 years, and did extensive teaching at private schools in the Washington Metropolitan Area as well. I have been a performer for about forty three years, including playing in orchestras, churches and jazz festivals. I have taught band in public schools. The experience I gained has given a passion for the education of young students, so they can experience performance at its highest levels.
