Hi, my name is Russell and I am a professional musician and guitarist from Somerville NJ. I have been a student of music for 20 years. My musical influences include Blues, rock, country, pop and I also enjoy all styles of music. My teaching style can best be described as learning to play from the heart. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I incorporate music theory with feeling In my lessons, you can expect to learn songs, scales, and a new approach to songwriting. I like to tell my students that there is an unlimited amount of ideas waiting for you to explore. What to expect in my Guitar Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate

I have a unique approach on teaching guitar lessons and songwriting lessons for beginner and intermediate students. I will keep you engaged with learning songs, tasty guitar licks your favorite guitar solos, along with the basic music theory and fundamentals to help you become not only a great guitar player, but songwriter as well. I will teach you the basics of performing out live and dialing in your tone as well. These are important and underrated things I feel most guitar teachers don’t focus on.
