Rayshaughn began singing as soon as they could speak. This came in handy as they soon introduced themselves to the world through Musical Theatre. During this period, they also began writing songs and playing guitar around age 12. Since then, they've earned two degrees in Music Business and Musical Theatre, and have become an outstanding and well rounded performer and educator. Their teaching journey began at Material Institute where they vocal coached residents through the Recording Artist Residency, and developed their unique teaching pedagogy. They also served as the Computer Lab and Library manager at Material Institute, where they guided students through the creative use of several different DAWS and recording techniques, while also managing and curating a diverse library catalogue. Rayshaughn finds joy through helping artists of all ages realize their potential, overcome mental blockages, and express themselves fully.
