From the barest of DIY venues, to student recitals and the professional world of musical theatre and jazz, I have developed what I deem to be the balance between formal and informal education that has allowed me to hop onto any genre that I find myself wanting to play. Even through all of this, my favorite moments will always be the culmination of all my experience resulting in students thanking me for explaining issues they've had trouble understanding for years. Whether it is the basic roman numeral system, rhythm subdivisions, or why the circle of fifths is useful, nothing can compare to watching the light in a student's eyes appear. The same light that may have shown in mine at one point. My name is Brandon, and I'll be your guide to being the musician you want to be one day.
