Hi, my name is Nicolas and I am a guitar/bass instructor living in PDX. I've been a musician now for over 17 years doing everything from cover bands, original, acoustic shows, home studio recordings and I even played with an orchestra once! I plan on teaching students guitar/bass through their own favorite musicians and some classics! I make a fun and easy environment to learn in. Lessons plans will generally go first with technique, then over to learning songs for "Motor skills" and lastly into learning our scales fancy chords which my students can then apply into their own songwriting and creativity. Music class was always my favorite and I want it to be my students too!

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
For the first lessons we're mostly focused on the very basics; how to hold a pick properly, how to position the guitar in your hands, proper fretting, and some good warm up riffs to get the hands moving! I'll also ask about the students preference in music and use that to plan ahead!
