Brian L.

Brian grew up in a musical family and began learning how to play drums at the age of 5. He loves music and has enjoyed a long career playing, performing, and teaching in a broad set of experiences. Brian led ensembles in high school which earned him best soloist awards, All-State performance positions, and the first ever national competition performance for his high school jazz ensemble. He furthered his academic studies at Ohio State University, where he performed in multiple jazz combos and as the selected performer for the OSU Jazz Ensemble for 3 years. He toured the USA and Europe with the OSU Jazz Ensemble. Throughout his playing life he has kept a set of private students which have earned positions in selective ensembles. He has played professionally as a cruise ship musician and in local jazz, funk, and rock ensembles.
