About Me

Hi, my name is Peter and I am a veteran from Troy, VA. I have been a student of music for over 30 years. My musical influences include pop, rock and country and I also enjoy playing electric guitar. My teaching style can best be described as chord progressive. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I am easy-going. In my lessons, you can expect to learn basic chords, rhythm and basic lead scales. I like to tell my students get ready to play and have fun. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the satisfaction a student gets while playing. My favorite perfor was watching bands like Kansas, Rush and many others. My students love that I am relaxed and easy going. I primarily teach chords, but I can also teach lead scales. My approach as a teacher is to ensure the student is satisfied.
