Hey there, I'm Amanda! I'm a lifelong band and choir kid with a strong music theory bent who is fascinated with the science behind music. I performed in several high school bands and choirs, then furthered my musical training at BYU in Cougar Band, Symphonic Band, and the A Capella Club—all four years for each. While there I did take collegiate-level lessons on voice and French horn both. Having recently been substitute teaching at Best in Music Education Center, I have renewed my confidence in myself as a musician and more importantly as a teacher. If you want to know more about music theory and become a better sightreader, I'm your gal! Wherever you are and whichever style you're pursuing, I hope I can give you the tools you need to succeed.
