Hi, my name is Claire, and I’m a musician and instructor from Virginia with 10 years of music experience. I play guitar and cello, and my influences range from classical to contemporary music. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and flexible, and I believe building confidence and strong fundamentals is key to learning music. In my lessons, you can expect to learn technique, basic music theory, and musical expression. I remind my students that progress matters more than perfection. I primarily teach guitar, and also offer cello and beginner theory. My goal is to make lessons supportive, fun, and tailored to each student. I hope to meet you soon!
