About Me

My name is Dillon and I have been dedicated to music since I was 10 years old. I have spent years going across the country to learn everything I can and playing wherever possible. I was an advanced student of music in both Middle and High school so I was able to get a head start on teaching. I have gone on to be a solo singer/songwriter playing in a variety of venues though my favorite was in New Orleans. Since my very first time posting small adds in guitar stores I've had a variety of students from all walks of life. Every single one of them has found success and fulfillment in my teachings. Despite my young age I bring a wisdom and deep knowledge of music in all its forms that I distill into easy to understand concepts for even the most beginner of students. My teaching style is more relaxed and understanding, specifically focusing on creating a stress free environment throughout all my sessions. For me it is always important to emphasize the fun in making music. I know first hand what it's like to have an unforgiving and rigid teacher so it's my sworn philosophy to be the antithesis of that.
