About Me

Hi, my name is Jasmine, and I am a Musical Theatre student from Wisconsin. I have been a student of music for 10 years. My musical influences include Musical Theatre, and I also enjoy Choir. My teaching style can best be described as student-centered. My teaching philosophy can best be described as your capability comes from your belief. In my lessons, you can expect to learn basic music theory to play the piano and sight-sing. I like to tell my students that the more confident you are in performance, the better you are. My favorite thing about teaching is learning how students process certain concepts differently, which can be challenging at first. My favorite performance was Urinetown in 2020! My students love that I empathize with them on a personal level. I primarily teach Voice, but I can also teach Piano.
