About Me

Hi, my name is Shaun and I am a singer from Colorado. I have been a student of music for more than 30 years. My musical influences include Mozart and I also enjoy Jason Robert Brown. My teaching style can best be described as compassionate and motivational. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I want students to have fun and feel safe learning music. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to enjoy making music. I like to tell my students you don't have to be perfect, but I always love to see you do your best. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the "light-bulb" moments, where everything clicks for a student. My favorite performance was seeing my voice teacher perform at Kurt Weill Hall in NYC. My students love that I want so much for them and love Disney. I primarily teach voice, but I can also teach piano.
