About Me

Hailing from Cochabamba, Bolivia, Alicia Ynez found the multifaceted and rich beauty of jazz from a young age. While missing home years later, she found a piece of it in New Orleans where she is a Jazz Studies Major at Loyola University New Orleans. This has led her to work with amazing musicians such as Victor Campbell, Amina Scott, Ed Wise, Oscar Rossignoli, and Jason Mingledorff. Alicia’s voice celebrates the traditional elements of jazz while revering the great names of soul. She works tirelessly to establish herself as a bandleader, arranger, songwriter, and educator, in which lies her true passion.

Alicia W. has over 4 years of music experience in the New Orleans area.
