My first paying gig on drums was at age 13. I have been performing on drums, percussion, piano and bass ever since. I believe that motivation is the key for private instruction. If a student is motivated, they will practice. Practicing can be fun if you are getting better and getting results. I believe students can pick the style of music they like and I can offer instructional techniques to fit the style.

Berklee College of Music, Diploma in Commercial Arranging, Westfield State University, B.A in Music Education, Licenced to teach in MA, CT and RI
Private Education:
I have studied with Jazz Drummer Ed Soph. I have studied with Hartford Symphony percussionist Eugene Bozzi. I have studied with Jazz pianist Ben Armantano.
Performing Experience:
I am the principal percussionist for the Falmouth Chamber Orchestra Players. I have performed with the Unconservatory Festival Orchestra. I have played drums for the following bands: Lonely Gus, Dave Richardson, Grits, Ground Swells, Joe Falsetto, Josh Lederman, Pluto, Alistair Moock, Harry Fix, Westfield Big Band and Kirk Whipple. I have also played percussion in pit orchestras for over 100 musicals.
Experience Teaching:
I have been teaching privately since 1985.
