About Me

Rebekah grew up in a family saturated in music and the arts. She had an early love of music, and knew from a young age that it would be a significant part of her life. She began studying piano at eight years old, added voice, flute, and self-taught guitar, and later went on to receive her Bachelor of Music. Creative work in college solidified her affinity for songwriting, and she has continued to write and record since then. Her musical experiences include starring roles in her undergrad opera program, active participation in numerous vocal ensembles, performing sacred music and leading congregational worship at various churches and events, weekly piano performances, and participating in music videos and professional recordings. Favorite career highlights include performing in ensemble with internationally known maestros, solo artists, orchestras, and grammy award winning director Robert Shafer at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., Wolf Trap, the National Cathedral, National Presbyterian Church, and the Lincoln Center in New York City. Rebekah has had the joy of teaching piano for eighteen years, and looks forward to sharing the joy and art of music with her students.
