About Me

Hi, my name is Eric and I'm a guitarist from Windsor Mill. I've been playing the guitar for 6 years and a student of music for 5. My favorite style of music is metal but I also love classical, classic rock, jazz, blues and flamenco. My teaching style can best be described as in-depth and practical. I believe that starting by learning songs is a much more effective way for new guitarists to learn, not only for practical reasons but also to keep the student engaged. In my lessons, you can expect to learn basic music theory, chords, techniques, and any song you may want to learn. My method is to meet the student where they are in their journey, and give them appropriate, yet challenging lessons to help further them along. I'll stress the importance of consistency to my students, stressing light daily or semi-daily practice over grueling, hours-long sessions.
