Colton began playing Drums at the age of 12. Over the years, he developed his skills further by participating in high school marching band and orchestra. Senior year he was awarded the Marine Semper Fidelis award for musical excellence. He gained performance experience in the Drums area by playing at Local venues, County Fairs, local festivals, took lessons and gave lessons at Palatka Music Center, playing with multiple bands and cover bands throughout Northeast Florida. Though Colton can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are Rock N Roll and Metal which had great influence on his style of playing. Colton loves music because it allows him to something that brings him joy and loves teaching music because it brings joy to others.
