About Me

Hi, my name is Jesus, and I am a Tenor 1 from Bakersfield CA. I have been a student of music for soon to be 10 years. My musical influences include singing/voice, and also enjoy music theory/sosongwritingMy teaching style can best be described as patient, encouraging, and truthful. MyMyeaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I teach by demonstration. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to sing, and what I mean by that is learning how to use your voice properly, and all the types of genres that best fit your voice. I like to tell my students to discover what kind of sound they want to make with their voices. My favorite thing about teaching is allowing my students to grow and become one with the art of singing. My favorite performance was when I played Joseph in the musical Joseph and the amazing technicolor dream coat, it is still today one of my favorite roles, and it really challenged my higher vocal range.
