Avy began playing violin at age 11 and developed her musicianship through Plano ISD orchestra programs and the New Conservatory of Dallas Orchestra.
She recently completed a national tour as a violinist with an orchestra and emo band, performing rock/orchestral crossover arrangements for audiences across the country.
While she enjoys teaching a wide range of musical styles, her personal favorites are classical and rock and roll, both of which have strongly shaped her sound and performance style.
Avy loves teaching music because she loves helping students fall in love with music and develop their performer personality. Whether a student is picking up an instrument for the first time or looking to strengthen existing skills, Avy focuses on creating lessons that are fun, goal-oriented, and tailored to each student’s musical path.
