About Me

My first job ever was giving saxophone lessons when I was a freshman in high school to multiple middle schoolers. I was section leader and then later the head drum major of my high school band. I placed in region, area and advance to all state my senior year. I attended Stephen F. Austin State University on a music scholarship, where I studied saxophone under Dr.Nathan Nabb for one year while pursuing a music education degree. I did transfer and get my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at Tyler. However, I remained working with the high school band giving group and individual lessons, and contained to play for the community band. For the last five years since I’ve moved to Tennessee, I have been a teacher and an RBT. My passion is helping others and working with students to help them have enjoyable educational experiences and reach their dreams! I have worked with all types of kids, as well as taken and taught many music lessons in my life! I look forward to this opportunity and hope to hear from you soon!
