Hi all! My name is Chloe and I am a music therapy student from Faribault. I have been a college student of music for 4 years, but have been a music student for nearly 15 years. My teaching style can best be described as kind, bubbly, supportive, and adaptive. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that learning may be a challenge, but it can also be fun! I want every student walking away feeling like they learned something, challenged themselves, and confident. In my lessons, you can expect to learn saxophone fundamentals, such as scales and exercises, and learn how to apply them to pieces of music ones you may be working on or for your own enjoyment. If you are interested in improv, we can do that as well! My favorite performance was my senior recital when I arranged and played the “Monster’s Inc. Theme.” I love arranging pieces, so bring on whatever song you enjoy and we can learn to play it! I primarily teach saxophone, but I can also teach guitar for anyone who is just starting out, eager to learn a new skill. My approach as a teacher is to foster a safe environment in which students can grow to their fullest potential. Thanks for taking a look at my profile. Hope to meet you soon!
