I’m Lucca, a drummer with over 12 years of playing and performing experience! I’ve spent much of my life playing in and around Boulder, and have also played at venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheater. The drums, and music in general, have always been my #1 passion in life, and the only thing I enjoy more than playing is sharing that passion with others. I started playing at 9 years old, taking lessons in a local music program which I was a part of for 8 years, and from there, I’ve gone on to join multiple bands and learn other instruments such as piano and the bass. Lessons with me would entail learning the fundamentals of the drums and then applying those fundamentals to your favorite songs! I believe that the most effective way to encourage musical learning is by integrating rigorous practice within the framework of learning songs, in a way that stimulates creativity and helps students to better understand how their favorite tunes are constructed. Music is my favorite thing in the entire world, and I love learning from my students as much as I do teaching them. I hope to see you soon!
