Huijie has always loved music from an early age. She began playing the violin at the age of 6 and continued her education by attending conservatories. Her musical influences include classical orchestral excerpts, chamber repertoires, solo repertoires. Her favorite aspect of music is its sense of time and flow. Her favorite part of teaching is inspiring students’ passion for music. One of her favorite teaching experiences was when a student told her how much they loved the instrument, joined an orchestra, and received an A in their performance class.
