My major influences include Gary Karr, Jaco Pastorius, Ray Brown, Tim Cobb, Edgar Meyer and Victor Wooten to name just a few. I tend to focus on what the student wants to learn and will give etudes/exercises to strengthen any observed weaknesses. I teach mostly classical music but have taught all styles in the past.
