About Me

I graduated from the University of North Florida with a degree in Jazz studies for applied drumset. At UNF I studied drumset with Jazz great Danny Gottlieb and also I studied percussion with Kevin Garry and Charlotte Mabrey, who are the percussionist in the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra. In middle school and high school I won many music competitions, participated in All-State Bands, District Jazz and Honors Bands, All-County Honors Bands, and received superior awards at Solo and Ensemble. After high school I played in many of UNF's Jazz combos and ensembles. I play around Florida with many local Jacksonville artists, bands, and my jazz trio. Also I co-wrote and played drums for some of the score for the move Chiaroscuro, Baby and my jazz trio played at the movie's Premiere.
