Hello! My name is Charlie and I am a local musician here in Roanoke. Though you may spot me playing almost anything, my main gig happens to be with a funk band that plays weekly downtown on Wednesday nights. I love and play all kinds of music and want to share that with as many people as possible. Usually when I give lessons my students only ask me questions about theory and the technical aspects of playing. While I enjoy answering those types of questions I still feel the most important part about the music is the intent of what your doing, and the feel. I will teach you the basics and more, but will always emphasize to play what feels natural to you!
