About Me

I'm a guitar instructor who recently moved to Richmond, VA. I am also an experienced drummer with teaching experience. I have my own portable equipment, if you would like in-home lessons. I provide practice outlines and practice logs, reviewed and reissued to my students at each lesson. I offer specialized training on subjects such as improvisation, guitar soloing, songwriting, music theory, and other specific subjects, both privately and in groups. I have various links to performance videos and testimonials that highlight different results I've gotten from offering those additional opportunities to my students. Some of them also feature demonstrations of my own playing ability. Though I specialize in rock and metal guitar playing, I can teach just about any style by ear.
