About Me
I am enthusiastic about teaching others both how to play and understand the art of music. In 2009 I graduated from North Central University where I truly fell in live with music and gained a passion for learning and performing through both my education and the rich Fine Arts culture in the city of Minneapolis where I studied. Since graduating, performing professionally has been a wonderful experience and tantamount to my ongoing growth as a musician. I have had the experience of performing in all sorts of venues domestically and abroad from small clubs and churches to a 360 stage in the U.S. Airways Arena as well as Malaysia, Thailand, and South America.
Tim G has over 6 years years of music experience in the Nashville area.

Performing Experience:
I have been working as a professional musician since I graduated in 2009. I have mainly been touring with the singer/songwriter duo Brad&Rebekah (brad&rebekahmusic.com). I have been in Nashville since July of 2013, still traveling as a guitar player, and working as a musician in town.
Experience Teaching:
I began teaching during my college career providing free lessons through a University sponsored program to underprivilaged young people in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul area. I volunteered there for 5 years and fell in love with imparting young people with a deeper understanding and appreciation of music. Starting in 2006, after learning some key ideas of pedagogy from my private instructor, I began taking on private students of my own and teaching lessons professionally. I have had students as young as 9 who were just beginning their own musical journey as well as students in their 60's with a passion for continued growth.
